This practice is amazing; GPs, nurses could not do more for you. They involve you every step in your medical care, are thoughtful and considerate. On occasions the receptionists can be assertive but they need to be. Not every member of the public is reasonable or considerate of others. We will be moving away from the area and moving GP practice is a big regret as have found this a great practice to belong to.

I was sent for an x-ray, I asked my GP did I not need a referral, to watch she replied no, it is a walk in clinic. So I eventually got to the walk in clinic, hobbling along and greet pain, after catching two buses and walking 500 600 meters. When I got there I was told that I needed a referral from my GP, as I had thought. The receptionist told me she would try and get my GP to refer me I could have a seat and wait could be sometime. So I had a seat, I waited, and I waited, and in a great deal of pain, The receptionist eventually came over to me, after about 50 minutes and told me she has been trying to contact my GP, to get a referral, but was told that my GP would not refer me, I explained to the receptionist it was her send me here in the first place, she said yes but she would refer you today because she's too busy with their patients. So I had to leave, and go the same stress and anguish to get back home. This probably would be a good practice, if the doctor knew what you was doing, I do think that always helps.

10 mins for an appointment is not enough time! So if you are ill and have more than one ailment you should make separate appointments! I had the misfortune of visiting this practice today with a few problems and was told that the doctor could only deal with the one problem, so could I decide which one is a priority! I have been a patient here since birth, 62yrs ago! I wanted some answers before going on holiday in 12 days time but unfortunately none was given! I have to make another 3 appointments, the first one available on the 26 September! For me it was a two bus waste of time!
